Daddy Time
I couldn’t have written it better myself. Some beautiful words on Daddy time from my wife. Loving this parenthood journey.
I spoke to a mum recently who admitted she hadn’t had a break and left the baby with her husband until her baby was 8 months old. 8 MONTHS??!! After having thought how crazy that sounded (didn’t she want some space?), I thought how sad it was for the dad, he’d missed out on so much!
I’ve always been determined for my husband to have time with his son, and since Mike adores his baby boy they get as much time together as possible. I knew I’d be making a rod for my own back if didn’t let Mike get involved from Day 1 so we’d agreed that he would get regular Daddy Time with the baby.
